Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:

Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the 25 MAR 2024 meetings were reviewed. Randy Wolff moved to 
approve the minutes. Weston Beal seconded. Without objection the minutes were 
approved.


Call for opens:
   none


AR review:
 - Randy will present the bug to the open forum to approve the classification 
   of Severe, High priority.

New ARs:


Discussion:
a. New IBISCHK7.2.1 draft bug “Non-comments allowed after [End Interconnect
      Model Set] keyword”
   This bug will be BUG253. Justin Butterfield explained that the bug appeared 
   because of an apparent mistake in editing. One EDA tool flagged the error. 
   ibischk does not show an error. Randy did some additional tests that show 
   that the non-comment text is caught as an error in other places in the file. 
   It is missed by the parser only when following [End Interconnect Model Set] 
   keyword. Some EDA tools ignore this error and continue using the model. Some 
   EDA tools might reject the model file.

   The group classified the bug as Moderate severity and medium priority. The 
   issue has an easy workaround of just commenting the text. It should be 
   included in the next parser development contract.
