Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:

Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the 05 NOV 2024 meeting was deferred to later.

   none


AR review:
 - Randy will send the draft contract to Atul for an estimate of the cost.
   Done


New ARs:
 - Lance will add the bug251 report to the open forum agenda this week
 - Lance will post the bug251 files to the IBIS Quality bugs web page.


Discussion:
a. IBISCHK8 parser contract draft – review parser developer quote and questions
   discussed some of the questions from Atul.
   Atul says the root name checking for AMI files will take a long time to 
   test even though the code in the parser is not too complicated.
   The group discussed the request to make iassert() more friendly by issuing 
   an exception. Atul said that C does not throw exceptions. Another 
   suggestion is to move iassert() definition to a different section of the 
   code so it doesn't crash.
   Randy will add BUG251 to the list of changes for the parser after the bug 
   is approved.

b. BUG251 - Missing Repeater_Type not seen through Model Selector
   Arpad noted in his testing that the [Repeater Pin] keyword causes the 
   parser to check for the correct type of model in the associated AMI file. 
   This check works correctly when the repeater model reference is to a 
   [Model]. The check does not proceed if the AMI model referenced in a 
   [Model] is through a [Model Selector].
   [AR] Lance will add the bug report to the open forum agenda this week and 
   post the bug files to the IBIS Quality bugs web page.
