-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

- Mike: Mark Westerhoff joins us as guest

- Mike is unable to meet May 24
  - The next meeting will be May 31

AR Review:

- Mike update External Test draft document
  - Done

New items:

Review of European IBIS summit meeting:
- Lance and Bob attended the summit
- Bob: 2 topics:
  - Antonio Orlandi from U. L'Aquila was an SPI speaker
    - He did not attend the IBIS summit
    - Student Danilo showed the IBIS Healing tool
    - It was a good presentation
    - There is an issue of how much data destruction is "unhealable"
    - Randy took minutes, he is still in Europe
- Mike: We had trouble with this tool
- Lance: They have no base, no testcases to work with
- Bob: They also showed FSV
  - They showed the 2D version with surface plots
  - The tool may be improved
  - I may ask the student to run test cases we asked for
- Lance: This is the more interesting tool
  - This will be useless for detecting things like overclocking though
  - It is better for analog signals
- Mike: FSV2D produces 3D plots
  - Are they easy to read?
- Lance: Yes
- Bob: The presentations are uploaded
  - Small bumps may be hard to detect
  - Would prefer to work with features like rise time

Mike showed the FSV presentation from the IBIS summit at SPI
- We studied to refresh our understanding of FSV

Bob: It's very helpful that students are developing these tools
- It would be good if more work was put into the healing tool

Eckhard: There was a presentation about golden waveforms
- It was by Maurer and Sporrer
- Lance: It was using V-T curves as golden waveforms
  - This is better than nothing
- Bob: They changed the golden waveforms to fix problems though
- Lance: I have found models that are unable to reproduce their own V-T curves

Next meetings:
- Next meetings May 31 and June 7

May 31 agenda:
- Review Maurer/Sporrer summit presentation

Meeting ended at 12:10 Eastern Time.
