-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

- Mike: The IBIS Open Forum voted to accept the IQ 2.0 spec
  - Would like to finalize document format

- Mike: Any report from the IQ presentations in China and Japan?

- Mike: Moshiul last week requested discussion of the IQ checklist

- Mike: Would like to have group review of web pages

AR Review:

- Mike add wishlist to IQ web page
  - TBD

- Lance try to find IBIS files with [Diff Pin] Tdelay out of order
  - Nothing received yet
  - Bob: N may be different than P

New items:

Summits:
- Anders: China was well attended
  - Bob: 112 were present
  - Pages were translated by Lance Wang
  - No questions for Anders' IQ presentation
- Bob: Huawei used the IQ checklist as a start
  - Built their own checklist with yes/no buttons
  - It has "copper" "silver" "gold" levels
  - They added correlation checks
  - Mostly in Chinese, some questions were asked
- Bob: The JEITA quality working group had presentation
  - Given by Yoshihiro Hamaji, Toshiba
  - They have a web based process
  - Anders: Simulation uses 12 different load cases
    - Mostly simulator-specific problems were found
  - Requires golden waveforms from vendors
  - Anders: A waveform error was corrected by a simulation option change

IQ 2.0 Specification:
- Mike: The PDF output has problems
- Bob: I can convert it
- Lance: There is a free PDF 995 PDF Writer
  - Anders: That had issues

IQ web pages:
- We looked at the ibis directory structure
- Bob: Created a directory for the version 2 IQ spec
  - Syed will create a link to it

Wish list
- 5.3.7. {LEVEL 2} Combined I-V tables are monotonic
  - Anders: This check can be dropped now
- Mike: The wish list is like an ongoing AR
  - Anders wanted to not forget the things we said we want to do
- Anders: It's more like a todo list
- Mike: Could we have ERRATA.txt for the version 2 spec?
  - Bob: We had something like that for IBIS 4.1
- Mike: Could put TBD in the minutes to find later
- Bob: Not worthy of a link on the website

AR: Mike upload new IQ spec and fix web page to link it

IQ Checklist:
- Mike showed the 2004 checklist
  - Spreadsheet contents paste into an IBIS file with tabs
  - Not trivial to fix this
- Moshiul: Do we have to follow this format?
- Mike: No, it's just a helpful aid
- Bob: People might sort the items to the order they want to check
  - For example they might sort by level

AR: Moshiul rework IQ checklist for IQ 2.0

Mike has an ongoing meeting conflict:
- A fairly important weekly Cisco meeting now conflicts with this one
- Would like to discuss moving the IQ meeting next week

Meeting ended at 12:05 PM Eastern Time.
