-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for patent disclosure:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

- David resend section 7 comment email to Mike
  - Mike reported that this is done

- Mike insure that David's section 7 document is in work archive
  - Done

- Mike post 1.1al IQ version
  - Done

- Mike look into MeetingPlace issues
  - Waiting for WebEx provisioning to be completed.

- Mike propose IBISCHK bug for 5.5.6
  - TBD

New items:

Continued review of the IQ specification:

Mike: Should 6.1 be moved to section 5?
- Bob: We can wait until we have reviewed all of Section 6
- We will be able to eliminate section 6 if all items have been moved.

5.6.2.	{LEVEL 3} Vref consistent for Open-drain, Open-source, and ECL Model_types
- Moshiul: This information should come from the datasheet
- Pavani: For open-drain model Vref should be logic high.
- Bob: This should be a sanity check
  - Vref is usually [Pullup Reference] for open-drain, but not always
- Bob: It also helps to have [Pullup Reference] present for open-drain
  - Even though there is no Pullup, tools use the information
- We added text to 5.6.2

5.6.3. {LEVEL 3} Rref present for Open-drain, Open-source, and ECL Model_types
- We added this new check.
- Bob: Ibischk may check for this
  - Pavani: Yes, there is a warning. (Pavani ran tests)
- We deleted the new check

6.4. {LEVEL 3} Open_sink/Open_source model with correct Vref, Cref, Rref, Vmeas
- We marked this check for deletion since it is now covered by section 5.6

6.5. {LEVEL 3} Differential models contain appropriate waveform tables
- Eckhard: There is no reasonable [Ramp] dV for LVDS
  - Mike: How to get Ramp for LVDS?
  - Pavani: Generate 4 waveforms with V_fixture = common mode V
    - This is usually near Vdd / 2
    - IBISCenter requires 4 waveforms to gen Ramp
- Bob: Using common mode V_fixture is not IBIS compliant
  - [Ramp] data are not used for simulation if waveforms are present
  - However the dt value is used for estimation of duration, etc
  - There will be a new IBISCHK check for dV against I/V tables
- Mike: Check 5.4.1 calls for common mode V_fixture V-T tables for differential
  - This insures that [Ramp} will not be used for simulation
- Bob: Judgment is required to get these models right
- Mike: 6.5 should be changed to discuss the LVDS Ramp issue explicity
- We marked this check for a later rewrite

Next meeting:
