Michael Mirmak called the meeting to order and took minutes. No patents
were declared.

Michael briefly reviewed the minutes of the October 4 meeting. Lance Wang
moved to approve the minutes. Randy Wolff seconded the motion. The minutes
were approved without objection.

Michael briefly reviewed the minutes of the September 27 meeting. Randy
moved to approve the minutes. Lance seconded the motion. The minutes
were approved without objection

Michael provided an update on his two ARs. He is awaiting more information
from Pete Pupalaikis on S-parameter compression. Sam Chitwood is looking
for referencing information, but will only examine the public IBIS summit
materials, as he no longer has access to his previous work presentations.

Arpad Muranyi noted during Opens that there have been no changes to the
port-mapping or pole-residue drafts since the last meeting. He is now looking
for feedback on the existing documents. The next step is to write up the TSIRDs
for each, but he would prefer not to get into details of the TSIRDs if the team
prefers a different direction for either document.

Michael took the AR to contact Steven Parker regarding ensuring that the latest
drafts are available on the Interconnect web site.

The team continued reviewing Draft 2 of the Touchstone 2.1 document. Some
discussion was held regarding how the example headers should be presented, and
whether all the examples need to be complete.

Arpad noted that the R character and resistance values are always at the end
of the option line in all examples. An example is present in the 2.1 draft that
shows resistance in the middle of the option line.

Several additional comments in the document from Arpad and Randy were resolved.
Michael noted that the phrase "less than allowed" appears under the noise data
section, for x5. The meaning of this is unclear and this section may need
rewriting. Arpad took the AR to check with his colleagues on the meaning of
x5's "less than allowed" noise parameters phrase.

All but one or two comments in the draft were resolved. The next meeting will
focus on the remaining questions and comments in the draft, with the objective
of pushing the document to the Open Forum for a vote as soon as possible.

Arpad moved to adjourn; Randy seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned.

The next meeting will be held October 18, 2023.
