Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

- None

New items:

We looked at the IQ web page
- Added checklist 2 XLS and PDF

Anders showed a presentation:
- Page 6:
  - Anders: IBIS-ISS calls them node names
  - Mike: Some nodes are special because they are also terminals
  - Series models mentioned
  - Added HiZ state
- Page 7: Added because 6 got too long
  - Anders: All waveforms must be external
  - Mike: Only ETD, not TD
  - Anders: The format must be decided
  - Bob: It could be a text file
  - Anders: Should there be a limit
  - Bob: Unlimited
  - Anders: Is there a limit on the number of terminal nodes?
  - Bob: Probably not
    - There might be a line length issue
    - But with continuation it should be unlimited
  - Anders: But we have a limit in IBIS
  - Eckhard: Does Touchstone have node names?
    - Line wrapping could cause a problem
- Mike showed the Touchstone2 spec
- Bob: In Touchstone we always have N2 data, and we know what it represents
- Eckhard: We could declare the number of nodes to follow
- Mike: We could declare one node per line with a keyword
  - Then things like
- Mike: We need to declare:
  - Where to connect the pads
  - Where to probe
  - Maybe other voltage supplies
- Anders: The interconnect circuit does not need any voltages
- Bob: We could add any issues raised to the end of the presentation
  - For example the rule that it is external only
- Mike: I don't think that is controversial
- Bob: We need to decide if terminals will be positional
- Anders: I prefer names
- Mike: There may be much discussion on that
  - It would be easier if we had example syntax in front of us

AR: Mike upload Anders' presentation
AR: Anders update his presentation

Next meetings:
- Next meetings Dec 14 and Dec 21

Dec 14 agenda:
